The original metal plates were carefully prepared before painting and finished with a protective coating for durability. The replacement leather was fitted to the camera and then custom painted to complement the rest of the design, creating a cohesive and completely unique appearance.

The combination of painted metal and custom-painted leather gives this Minolta AL a fresh identity while keeping the character of the original vintage camera intact.
