Linocut print ,,Girls with circles III" third print A4
Girls with Circles III — Linocut Print
Girls with Circles III is the final print in a three-part linocut series inspired by the strange, playful, and intimate world of the circus.
Across the series, performers and animals move together until the distinction between them begins to blur. Girls with Circles III continues this exploration of movement, trust, balance, and the almost magical connection that can develop between a person and an animal. The figures become part of the same visual rhythm — as if they are no longer simply performing together, but moving as one.
The circular forms suggest the endless motion of a circus ring, while the intertwined figures create a composition that feels theatrical, playful, and slightly surreal. There is something deliberately ambiguous about the scene, inviting you to look closer and decide for yourself what is happening within this strange little circus world.
The artwork was hand carved into a lino block and hand pressed, with every print made individually. This third piece is printed in black and green, giving it a different atmosphere from the first two works while keeping the visual language of the series connected.
Because each print is made by hand, every impression may vary slightly. Differences in ink coverage, texture, pressure, and registration can occur from one print to another. These small variations are a natural part of the handmade process and make each print unique.
As the final piece in the Girls with Circles series, it can be displayed on its own or together with Girls with Circles I and Girls with Circles II as a complete set.
The printed artwork is approximately A4 in size, while the paper itself is slightly larger. This leaves a natural border around the artwork and gives you some flexibility when choosing a frame.
